James Amlicke

Founder and CEO

James founded Sequoia CMS in 2014 after a successful career as the CEO of SBI Builders, Inc. His background hails from twenty two years of operations, finance, information technology, sales & marketing and general management in the Finance, High Tech and Construction Industries. James was the Chief Technology Officer at a New York based Financial Services firm with $50B under management and later founded B.E.N. Solutions, a timeshare CIO services firm where he was CIO for several venture capital firms including Lightspeed Venture Partners. James then moved into the role of General Manager for the Western Region of a $368 Million Managed Services firm where he was responsible for operations, sales, marketing and the region’s P&L. As the former CEO of SBI Builders, James led operations, oversaw finance and formulated the technology strategy to ensure that SBI appropriately leveraged technology to boost efficiency and implement risk management. James holds a degree in physics from Bucknell University, is the founder of the Information Technology Outsourcing Alliance, a Member of GLG Council, an Eagle Scout and a Member of the IEEE.

Tina Martinez

Tina Martinez

Director of Finance

Tina has over 18 years of construction experience including 10 years of project management. Before taking on the role as Director of Finance Tina’s work experience included multi-family, commercial and single family homes. She has completed 10+ projects throughout the Bay Area and brings many years of project finance experience to the company. Tina currently oversees all project related finances including monthly invoicing, project estimates, accounts payable and accounts receivable. Tina also assists with payroll processing and assists subcontractors with monthly invoicing. Aside from work, Tina enjoys spending time with her daughter and engages in leisure activities such as playing softball.

Jonathan Liu

Jonathan Liu

Contract Administration

Jonathan provides contract administration for SCMS and is responsible for setting up workflows, contract reviews and accounting processes. After beginning his career in accounting in the technology industry in Santa Clara , CA, he moved into the construction industry at SBI Builders, Inc. His expertise with insurance compliance, risk management, and pre-qualification of trades was a huge benefit to the dilemmas facing the construction industry. Jonathan contributes his savvy in finance to the workflow processes at SCMS. Jonathan received his BA in Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from San Jose State University. In his free time, Jonathan like traveling to exotic countries, eating gourmet, and racing automobiles.
